Notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions

This notice applies when you apply online or by email for the Kuruma Okuru vehicle transport service. This English version is a reference translation. If there is any difference, the Japanese version prevails.

Service details: We arrange domestic vehicle transport. As a Type 1 Freight Forwarding Business (motor truck transport), Kanto District Transport Bureau, Registration No. 845, we transport vehicles using car carriers and transport trucks operated by partner carriers.
Price: The fee varies by route, vehicle size and condition, season, and other factors, so we will provide it in a quote. We show individual customers amounts including consumption tax. A regional price guide for transporting one kei car or standard car for individual customers appears in a table on the individual customers page. The instant quote on the business customers page shows amounts both excl. tax and incl. tax.
Additional costs: You are responsible for bank transfer fees. Costs not included in the quote may arise, such as storage fees when a vehicle is held during busy periods, or charges if we cannot collect a vehicle because of payment status or the vehicle’s condition. In such cases, we will explain the reason and amount. Transport insurance premiums may increase depending on the vehicle’s value, so we will confirm this when preparing the quote.
When payment is due: Payment is due in advance, before we arrange transport. We arrange transport after confirming payment. For business customers with an ongoing relationship and a large number of vehicle requests, we may, after discussion, switch to month-end billing with payment due by the 10th of the following month.
Payment methods: Business customers pay by bank transfer. Individual customers can choose bank transfer or credit card. For credit card payments, we send a link to a payment page showing the quoted amount.
When the service is provided: We arrange transport after confirming payment. Pickup and delivery dates vary by venue, number of vehicles, and season; we will tell you the dates when providing a quote.
Cancellation of applications: You may cancel your application before we pick up the vehicle. We will refund the amount paid, less costs already incurred for arranging transport. After pickup, you may request that transport be stopped or that the vehicle be returned under Article 26 of the Terms of carriage. You are responsible for the resulting costs.
Transport conditions: The Standard Terms and Conditions for Freight Forwarding by Motor Truck established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism apply.
